Meet
Kelsy
Kelsy graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2011 and since then has taken many courses to further her education with a focus to myofascial treatment. She has completed the Biodynamic Fascial Integration Program where she learned cranio-sacral, visceral and myofascial therapies. The purpose of this series is to be able to look at the body as a whole, to see its connections and to find the root of the injury. Kelsy is currently enrolled in the Osteopathic Program. She is looking forward to furthering her skills and knowledge in order to help her patients.
Kelsy’s goals with her patients are to help them understand why they are injured, what they can do to prevent injury/dysfunction and most importantly to connect to their bodies.
Kelsy always works within a patient’s tolerance and is intent with her pressure and modalities. She knows her anatomy very well and is therefore able to affect specific structures and layers of tissue. In her spare time Kelsy spends time with her husband, two sons and dog (Zoey). She practices yoga and loves running and strength training. She is an avid reader and loves cooking for friends and family.
Areas of Focus: Kelsey’s treatment style is focused on myofascial release, trigger point release, cranio-sacral and visceral manipulation. She treats various injuries/dysfunction some of which include: TMJ, headaches, whiplash injuries, scar tissue and post-natal.
