Mood and Mental Health

1 in 5 Canadians will suffer from a mental illness in their lifetime, with anxiety and depression being the most common of these. Medications for these conditions are among the most frequently prescribed in North America, and although they can be helpful, they don’t tend to address the underlying issues.

Integrative medicine can do this with it’s recognition that our mind and body are inter-connected, both affecting the other. How we care for ourselves impacts our mental health – diet, sleep, exercise, stress management and our daily habits all play a role in how we feel everyday.

Can we get the support and solutions we need without the side effects? Things like depression, anxiety, poor sleep, and stress can fade away with the right individualized and holistic root-cause approach; total wellness – mind, body, and spirit is possible.
