Skin Health or Overall Health consultations? What visit should I book with Dr. Spinelli?

Both are Naturopathic visits, and you will receive the receipt, which may need to be submitted to your extended health insurance for reimbursement under Naturopath (naturopathic medicine). Also, bh visits have the same duration, and you will receive an online intake to complete before your first visit.

Book a First Skin Health consultation: if you have a specific skin condition you would like to address as your main concern on your first visit. Your overall health will also be assessed on the same visit.

Book a First Overall Health consultation: if you want to optimize your health or if you have other issues that are not skin-related. During the same visit, Dr. Spinelli will also examine and assess your skin if necessary.

How long does the visit take? What to expect?

Initial (First) visit – 75 minutes duration: Dr. Spinelli will perform a comprehensive medical assessment and create your unique treatment plan according to your needs. Make sure to answer the online intake form thoroughly before your first visit to make it a smoother experience.

Follow-up visit – 45 min – between 4-12 weeks: The first follow-up is a 45-minute visit, during which she will reassess the initial treatment plan, review labs, and complete any missing parts of the initial visit. Together with you, she will adjust your tailored treatment plan.

Follow up visit – 30 min – between 3-6 months: Then, Dr. Spinelli will reassess your needs and adjust your treatment plan periodically to guide you in your healthy aging.

The frequency of follow-up visits will depend on your health needs and treatment plan. More frequent visits may be necessary to address acute issues, followed by maintenance visits for ongoing health support.

She treats a variety of conditions, including acne, melasma, eczema and other skin issues, digestive issues, female hormonal imbalances, perimenopause support, chronic stress and anxiety, allergies, thyroid issues, sleep disturbances, and more. She supports general wellness and preventative aging, combining her conventional medical and dermatological background with her naturopathic medicine knowledge.

What treatments does Dr. Spinelli offer?

She uses a variety of naturopathic treatments, including oral supplements with nutrients and amino acids, herbal medicine (botanical medicine), nutritional counseling, lifestyle advice, homeopathy, IV therapy and IM injections with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
