    Quinn Rose, R.Ac

As an acupuncturist, Quinn strives to achieve balance in all body systems in order to reach optimal mental and physical health.

All body systems are connected, depend on each other, and influence one another. Quinn’s goal is to treat the whole person instead of just the symptoms and to look for the origin of the issue. No two people are alike so she customizes her treatments according to her patients’ individual needs. Quinn is always looking for ways to apply traditional Chinese medicine using modern medical knowledge as she believes this helps to further the possibilities and provides a more comprehensive treatment.

Quinn spent much of her time in post-secondary studying many different things, from politics to languages to sciences and has always enjoyed being a student, but couldn’t see herself pursing a career in any of these areas. Her curiosity led her to acupuncture and she was inspired by the combination of ancient philosophy with practical application. She graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and continues to broaden her knowledge through continuing education courses.

In her spare time Quinn enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her wonderful friends and family. She and her husband share a hilarious and spirited dachshund named Walter.

Where there is no movement there is pain. Where there is movement there is no pain.

Maintaining order rather than correcting disorder is the ultimate principle of wisdom. To cure disease after it has appeared is like digging a well when one already feels thirsty, or forging weapons after the war has begun.
