The Myers cocktail is an intravenous vitamin and mineral formula that can be used to support a variety of conditions. It consists of high doses of vitamin, C, Magnesium and B vitamins. When a person takes supplements orally, the amount absorbed into the blood is limited by their digestive system and any diminished capacity it has to absorb the nutrients, while the part that isn’t absorbed is then wasted as it is passed in the urine. IV Vitamin therapy bypasses this issue by going directly into the bloodstream. In cases of chronic conditions, a number of treatments are given over a period of several weeks or months.
